Renders
Below is an example of what I have created, these are static unaltered images that came out of the program I’ve created these models in. A lot are WIP by nature.
The interesting bit is, some objects believe it or not – despite being game objects, actually never end up in their intended target, mostly Trainz. Some take far longer to make it into Trainz during development and in other cases, some are already split up (hence why there is bits missing) ready to export into Trainz or other sims. You are welcome to ask about a particular object if it is available and I still have it. Bear in mind, some of these items are over 20 years old! (Yes, really) Some objects are rendered in Mental Ray and some scanline. Where there is any potentially copyright infringement, it is removed in the image where possible.
Screenshots
Some of the work above, ends up in Trainz – primary where most models go to. Some models stay as static renders however. Below, is some screenshots to show the overall effect after “Exporting”. Sometimes, it often comes out differently, because of the way game engines and 3D engines in general, interpret a scene differently compared to 3D authoring programs. This is because a lot of game engines are live renderings and have to interpret the model on the fly using some effects that allows for live renderings
